Brand modernisation from Ordnance Survey

Ordnance Survey are launching a brand modernisation programme which will take place over 12 months starting in February 2015. This will include a new logo, revised map numbers for selected maps and the inclusion of a downloadable version of the purchased map. The Downloadable version will also include tools to zoom in and out, create, print and share routes, waypoints and places of interest.

How will this affect you?

This programme will be launched in 4 stages - February 2015 - launch of the new logo and point of sale, May 2015 - launch of new Outdoor Leisure series, August 2015 remaining Explorer maps re-launch and February 2015 will see the Landranger maps re-launched and all other maps re-branded.

Our commitment to you

We will be working with you to make the transfer as seamless and hassle free as possible. We will arrange the collection of ALL your old maps and replacements can be arranged by value or by map number - for example if you have some maps in stock that are slow selling you will be able to exchange these for faster selling titles from us rather on a like for like basis.

We will be issuing more information to all our customers in due course but if you would like to discuss this in more detail prior to the first launch please do not hesitate to contact Tim Wilson on 07990 080234 or

The new logo looks like this:
